Review of Stellaluna
Stellaluna is a story about a baby fruit bat who is separated from her mother on night. She finds herself in a nest of birds. She is cared for by the bird mother, and during her stay Stellaluna begins to find out how different she is than the birds. Later she finds her real mother, but still has a connection to her bird family. I think this is a great book about bats, birds and the love of families. It shows that you do not have to be exactly like someone else to care about them. It also has some interesting information about bats.
